PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Reverse Osmosis Alkaline Cleaner is a high pH liquid formulation for the removal of oils, organics, and bio-mucous membranes.
The stability of reverse osmosis system operation depends on the level of pretreatment of raw water quality. But in any case reverse osmosis in operation after a certain period of time (generally 3-12 months), are subject to varying degrees of contamination, chemical cleaning is a necessary means of restoring membrane performance. Reverse osmosis alkaline cleaning agent is specially developed for the removal of oil, organic matter and biological mucous membrane and cleaning agent.

It is mainly used to remove organic matter, sludge and other particles adhering to the membrane surface, and is suitable for most of the reverse osmosis, hollow fiber, nanofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes on the market today. Generally, alkaline cleaners are used in conjunction with acidic cleaners.
Typical Applications
During operation of a membrane separation system, organic matter in the feed water can accumulate on the membrane surface. The presence of organic matter provides an environment for microbial growth, resulting in microbial fouling. This fouling prevents the flow of water through the membrane, resulting in lower water production, higher operating pressures, and additional pressure differentials in the system, which can cause irreversible damage to the membrane. In addition, the accumulation of fouling beneath the membrane surface increases the amount of dissolved material passing through the membrane, resulting in poorer produced water quality. Before poor produced water quality or membrane damage occurs, fouling should be removed by on-site or off-line cleaning. Cleaning is required when the following signs occur. A significant decrease in permeate volume, a significant increase in system differential pressure, or an increase in salt permeate, resulting in poor water quality.
HOW TO USE?

Step 1
Check and clean the water tank, pipeline and security filter, and load new filter element if necessary;

Inject the appropriate amount of reverse osmosis produced water into the cleaning tank;

Reverse osmosis cleaning agent alkaline slowly add the calculated dosage, with the water pump cycle mixed wash solution, measure PH; such as low add appropriate amount of NaOH.

Cycle cleaning, depending on the severity of pollution, generally 1-10 hours, such as long time, you can soak for a certain period of time and then cycle. Sampling during the cleaning process to observe the cleaning effect, that is, the turbidity of the liquid, color changes, flocculent production.

If the pollution is serious, it is sometimes necessary to empty the batch of cleaning fluid to prevent the re-deposition of pollutants; and then re-formulate the cleaning fluid.

Cycle the process, properly raise the temperature to help the cleaning effect, but do not exceed the specified temperature, note that the continuous circulation of the liquid will lead to a gradual increase in temperature.
Precaution
Reverse osmosis alkaline cleaner is only limited to cleaning oil, organic matter and other dirt, such as cleaning scale, water rust, please choose (acid) cleaner.
